East Rockaway, NY
Local boatman David "Dave Push" Terrell was found dead in the water in 1910, and folklore says his spirit later haunted the Haviland-Davison Mill. The historic mill was moved to Memorial Park in 1963 and is now a museum, with a Legends & Lore marker preserving the ghost story.
Huntsville, AL
Behind Maple Hill Cemetery, a small playground has become one of Huntsville’s best-known ghost-story locations, with local tales of children’s apparitions and swings moving on their own. The supernatural claims are folklore, not established fact; visit only during lawful cemetery/park hours and remain respectful of graves and mourners.
