Local boatman David "Dave Push" Terrell was found dead in the water in 1910, and folklore says his spirit later haunted the Haviland-Davison Mill. The historic mill was moved to Memorial Park in 1963 and is now a museum, with a Legends & Lore marker preserving the ghost story.
