Visitors reach the area on foot through Griffith Park, so this is a strange outdoor legend stop rather than a staffed attraction.

Twenty-year-old Hazel Drew was found murdered near Teal's Pond in 1908, and the case was never solved. Stories of her ghost walking the nearby woods survived for generations and later helped inspire the mystery behind Twin Peaks; a Legends & Lore marker now marks the local story without requiring visitors to enter the woods.

A stone bridge built in 1909 near the Zealandia mansion is tied to one of Asheville’s best-known ghost legends. Folklore says a grieving woman named Helen hanged herself here after losing her daughter and still appears around the bridge; the story is unverified, and visitors should stay on public roads and away from the private mansion. Wheeling, WV
This former railroad tunnel is now part of Wheeling's trail system and has become associated with reports of voices, figures and other unexplained activity. It is publicly reachable on the trail, but the tunnel is dark and should be approached with a light and normal trail precautions.

Hex House is a Tulsa seasonal haunt with multiple walk-through attractions at one location, loosely drawing its name from the city's infamous 1940s Hex House story. Hirschi's Haunted Hollow was a seasonal haunted attraction in the Preston area with Halloween scares and themed outdoor experiences. Idaho High Country now lists the attraction as permanently closed, so it should be removed from active OddWay routing.

Ogden's old railroad-era vice district accumulated stories of underground tunnels, killings, gambling and reported apparitions. The street is fully public and remains the core of the city's official Paranormal Ogden route.
Anchorage, AK
The operating historic hotel maintains its own ghost log and promotes stories tied to unexplained sightings and the unsolved 1921 killing of Anchorage police chief John 'Black Jack' Sturgus nearby. Because the property itself presents the haunted history, it is a strong lawful paranormal stop without relying only on third-party legend sites.
Bedford, VA
Built around 1838, Avenel remained in only two families for nearly 150 years and is now preserved by the Avenel Foundation. The house has long-standing stories of a spectral woman known as the White Lady and other unexplained activity, but visits to the interior must be arranged through scheduled tours or events.
Binghamton, NY
Built in the 1890s for clock manufacturer Harlow Bundy, this Victorian house is now a museum and a recurring stop for paranormal investigators. Visitors have reported footsteps, voices and other unexplained activity, and the museum hosts scheduled ghost tours and investigations in addition to regular public hours.
Granville, OH
The Buxton Inn traces its history to an 1812 tavern and stagecoach stop and has operated in Granville for more than two centuries. Stories of former owners, guests and even a ghostly cat have become part of the inn's identity; it remains an active hospitality property, so public access is through its current lodging, dining and event operations.

The riverside Glen Ferris Inn dates to the nineteenth century and has long been associated with stories of a resident spirit commonly called "The Colonel." It remains an operating inn and restaurant, so travelers can visit normally without needing a paranormal event.

Alexander Moore Hannah built this large brick house in the nineteenth century, and it later became one of Indianapolis's best-known paranormal locations. The organization preserving the property offers historical access and scheduled paranormal investigations, allowing visitors to experience the site legally instead of relying on abandoned-building lore.
