Connecticut's long-running Curtis House Inn now operates as the 1754 House, but its old ghost stories have not disappeared with the name change. Reports attached to the historic property include apparitions, footsteps, voices and unexplained music. It remains an active inn and restaurant rather than an abandoned location.
Eureka Springs, AR
The Crescent Hotel is Arkansas’s most famous haunted hotel, with stories tied to its years as a hospital run by controversial physician Norman Baker. The hotel openly embraces its ghost lore and operates regular ghost tours.

Bethany Beach, DE
The historic Addy Sea appears in Delaware haunted-history material and has accumulated room-specific ghost stories involving a shaking bathtub, phantom organ music and a handyman spirit. Independent evidence for the experiences is thin, so the stories are best presented as inn folklore rather than authenticated paranormal events. It remains an operating lodging property.
Baltimore, MD
The Admiral Fell Inn occupies a collection of historic Fell's Point buildings associated with the neighborhood's long maritime history. Guests and tour guides have attached numerous ghost stories to its rooms and corridors, while the property continues to operate as a hotel.
Juneau, AK
Operating since 1913, this late-Victorian Gold Rush-era hotel preserves a bordello-era past and openly acknowledges its reputation among ghost hunters. Occultist Aleister Crowley spent several months in Hebron in 1916 during what he described as a magickal retirement. The small house associated with that period still survives, giving New Hampshire a direct physical connection to one of the twentieth century's most notorious occult figures. It is a private residence and should be viewed only from a lawful public road.
Pawleys Island, SC
A plain stone marked only “Alice” is associated with one of the Lowcountry’s best-known romantic ghost legends. Tradition says Alice Flagg died after her family opposed a secret engagement, and visitors still leave rings and tokens while searching for her supposed apparition.
Amityville, NY
The house associated with the 1974 DeFeo murders later became internationally famous through claims made by the Lutz family and The Amityville Horror books and films. It remains a private residence, so OddWay visitors should view only from public streets, should not enter the property, and should avoid disturbing the occupants.
Fitzwilliam, NH
The Fitzwilliam Historical Society preserves this nineteenth-century house as a local museum filled with period furnishings and artifacts. Staff and visitors have reported unexplained sounds, voices and other alleged activity, including stories of multiple spirits and even a phantom cat. Tours are currently arranged by appointment, so visitors should contact the museum in advance.
Lawrenceburg, KY
The nineteenth-century Anderson Hotel stopped operating as normal lodging decades ago but remains one of Lawrenceburg's best-known paranormal locations. Investigators and local storytellers have reported apparitions, voices and violent unexplained activity inside; because the hotel is not a normal walk-in attraction, OddWay should route visitors only to public downtown viewing or explicitly scheduled events. Auntie Mortem's Abattoir is one of the walk-through haunted houses inside Hersheypark's Dark Nights Halloween event, built around a grotesque butcher-shop and slaughterhouse theme. It is not a standalone Derry Township business and can only be visited when the park's seasonal Dark Nights event is operating.
Midlothian, IL
A tiny abandoned pioneer cemetery deep in the forest preserve, famous for decades of phantom-house, ghost-car, and apparition stories.
