A roughly 60-foot stainless-steel crucifix rises above St. Thomas Cemetery south of Bardstown. Built in 1986, the unusually skeletal wire-frame figure of Jesus is visible above the cemetery and has long been promoted as one of the tallest crucifixes of its type.
