Founded in 2015, this museum preserves the story of the violent early-20th-century struggles between coal miners, mine guards and coal companies, including Matewan and Blair Mountain. Its current Matewan location contains artifacts, weapons, photographs, firsthand accounts and other material from the Mine Wars.
