Dark-ride designer Bill Tracy built Waldameer's Whacky Shack in 1970, filling the tracked ride with blacklight monsters, optical gags and old-school funhouse effects. It is still operating at Waldameer and is a rare surviving example of Tracy's once-widespread amusement-park work, but it is available only when the seasonal park is operating.
