Victoria Theatre opened in 1866 and has accumulated several long-running ghost stories during more than a century and a half of performances. The best-known involves the legendary "Miss Vicki," whose presence is associated with rose perfume, footsteps and a face in a dressing-room mirror; the theater remains an active public performance venue.
