Traverse Colantha Walker was a prize Holstein associated with the former Northern Michigan Asylum farm and became famous for extraordinary milk production. Her stone grave marker survives on the grounds of Historic Barns Park, preserving one of Traverse City's stranger pieces of agricultural history.
