This stark 210-foot tower was built by the Catholic Church in 1968 as part of a proposed religious complex before becoming a public museum and observation tower. Its high viewing decks overlook the Soo Locks and passing freighters, while the unusual concrete structure dominates the city's otherwise low skyline.
