Built in 1649, Three Chimneys Inn occupies one of the oldest surviving homes in New Hampshire and still operates as lodging. Local ghost lore centers on a presence called Hannah, said to be connected to a drowning in the Oyster River and blamed for unexplained disturbances involving electronics. The haunting is folklore, but the building itself is a legitimate historic inn visitors can stay in.
