The Anchorage, originally called Putnam Villa, was built in 1859 and survives as one of Marietta's imposing nineteenth-century houses. Hidden Marietta uses the property for guided haunted-history tours, flashlight tours and paranormal investigations, with entry limited to scheduled programs and reservations.
