Block Island's dramatic brick Southeast Lighthouse was completed in the 1870s near the Mohegan Bluffs. Coastal erosion eventually brought the cliffs dangerously close, forcing the entire lighthouse to be moved back from the edge in 1993. Tours and interior access are seasonal, while exterior access depends on current site conditions.
