Tunnel No. 19 on the North Bend Rail Trail is associated with the “White Woman of Silver Run,” a ghost said to have appeared on the former B&O tracks in front of passing trains. The 1,376-foot tunnel is publicly reachable from the rail trail, but it is dark, damp and requires a walk or bike ride to reach, so visitors should bring a light.
