This enormous former Vanderbilt-Webb country estate was laid out with landscape work by Frederick Law Olmsted and includes monumental barns, an inn and more than a thousand acres along Lake Champlain. The scale and theatrical design make the property feel closer to a self-contained Gilded Age world than an ordinary Vermont farm.
