The railroad overpass on Maud Hughes Road has accumulated decades of local stories involving screams, apparitions and a phantom train, alongside a documented history of serious accidents in the area. The old bridge was replaced and the roadway realigned in 2015, but the legend remains attached to the crossing; there is no pedestrian facility, so do not stop or park on the bridge or enter the railroad property.
