Built in the 1850s, Sachs Covered Bridge carried both Union and Confederate troops during the Gettysburg campaign and is now preserved as a pedestrian bridge. It later accumulated extensive ghost lore involving apparitions, phantom sounds and Civil War soldiers, making it one of Gettysburg's better-known paranormal stops while still being a legitimate historic structure visitors can walk across.
