Poki is a roughly two-ton desert-tortoise sculpture commissioned by local resident Bill Hayes and originally displayed on his property. Hayes donated it to the community when he moved in late 2013, and it was moved to a public location in January 2014; travelers can still see Poki as a roadside photo stop.
