Pine Hill Cemetery is widely nicknamed Blood Cemetery because of the Blood family buried there, especially Abel Blood and a gravestone whose carved hand helped fuel local legends. Stories describe apparitions, strange lights and other activity around the burial ground, though these remain folklore. Visit only during lawful cemetery hours and treat the graves respectfully.
