The enormous Piʻilanihale Heiau is one of the largest surviving traditional Hawaiian temple platforms and sits within the National Tropical Botanical Garden's Kahanu Garden. It is culturally sacred and archaeologically protected; visitors should use the garden's designated route and interpretation.
