Caleb Bradham created the drink that became Pepsi-Cola at his New Bern pharmacy before losing control of the company after a disastrous sugar-market gamble. His surprisingly modest grave lies in Cedar Grove Cemetery only a short distance from Pepsi’s birthplace.
