Originally built as a church in 1772, the stone structure was fortified during the Revolutionary War and attacked in 1780. Visitors and investigators have reported apparitions, footsteps, screams and other unexplained activity; the museum is seasonal, with special paranormal programs and ghost hunts offered on selected dates.
