Manhattan's oldest surviving house has accumulated stories of apparitions and unexplained activity connected with its long history, including former owner Eliza Jumel. The museum has offered dedicated paranormal investigations, although the mansion is temporarily undergoing roof work in 2026 and access should be checked before visiting.
