MIT's museum turns experimental science and engineering into a public collection of robots, holography, kinetic art, early computing, artificial intelligence and prototypes. Its current home at the Gambrill Center in Kendall Square makes it one of the easiest places in Massachusetts to encounter genuinely strange technology.
