A narrow iron suspension footbridge crosses the Souhegan River in Milford, swaying noticeably as pedestrians move across it. The current bridge dates to the nineteenth century and feels more like a miniature Victorian suspension bridge than a typical town walkway. It remains a pedestrian crossing, so visitors can experience the movement directly.
