A phosphate mining and processing locality in western Wyoming — not Utah, despite the nearest town being over the line. The Leefe Mine ran from 1947 until Wyoming phosphate production ended in 1977. The mine and plant area lies about thirty miles west of Kemmerer and is not maintained for visitors; do not enter old workings or industrial property.
