Built in 1898 for the family behind the patent-medicine company that produced Swamp Root, Kilmer Mansion has accumulated reports of voices, footsteps, lights switching on and unexplained touches. The restored mansion opens for scheduled tours, events and paranormal programs rather than unrestricted daily access.
