Stone remains beside the Wabash River preserve part of a lock from the Wabash and Erie Canal, once one of the longest canal systems in North America. A public trail now passes the nineteenth-century masonry, allowing travelers to inspect infrastructure from a transportation network that almost completely disappeared.
