Hundreds of coconut palms planted during the reign of Kamehameha V form one of Molokaʻi's most recognizable royal-era landscapes. The grove is Department of Hawaiian Home Lands property and falling coconuts are hazardous; GoHawaii specifically recommends viewing from the grassy roadside area rather than entering.
