Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park — Petroglyph and Village Landscape

Trails connect lava fields, petroglyphs, house sites, fishponds, and coastal wetlands that preserve a traditional Hawaiian settlement landscape inside modern Kona. Heat and rough lava can make short-looking distances difficult, and archaeological features must remain untouched.
