The infant who travelled with Sacagawea and the Lewis and Clark expedition died near Inskip Station in 1866, taken ill crossing the Owyhee country. His grave was rediscovered in the twentieth century, dedicated in 1971 and listed on the National Register in 1973. The signed site is reached by gravel road southwest of Jordan Valley — in Oregon, not Idaho.
