This sycamore grew from a seed carried around the Moon aboard Apollo 14 in 1971 as part of astronaut Stuart Roosa's famous seed experiment. Planted in Indianapolis during the U.S. Bicentennial era, it is one of the surviving "Moon Trees" scattered across the country.
