More than two dozen restored or reconstructed plantation-era buildings recreate the communities where Hawaiian, Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Puerto Rican, Okinawan, and other workers lived. Guided tours make the site a walk-through archive of sugar-era everyday life.
