NOAA's free visitor center interprets the extraordinary concentration of shipwrecks protected in Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Visitors can walk through a life-size schooner recreation, experience a simulated Great Lakes storm and examine enormous timbers from wrecked vessels without going underwater.
