This museum is dedicated to the thousands of shipwrecks, storms, wars, rescues, pirates, and maritime disasters associated with the dangerous waters off the Outer Banks. Its location near Hatteras Inlet puts it directly beside the landscape that earned the region the name “Graveyard of the Atlantic.”
