This inactive town-owned cemetery dates to 1811 and became notorious in the late twentieth century for stories of apparitions and other paranormal activity. Ghost hunters also caused serious vandalism here, so visit only during lawful cemetery access, remain within the grounds and treat the surviving graves with particular care.
