Concrete gun batteries from the former coastal-defense Fort Wetherill remain embedded in cliffs above Narragansett Bay. Many surfaces are covered with layers of graffiti, creating a striking collision of military ruins and constantly changing street art. The surrounding state park is public, but visitors should obey closures and never enter unsafe or restricted structures.
