Fort Mifflin is a surviving Revolutionary-era fort on the Delaware River and saw intense bombardment during the 1777 defense of Philadelphia. The historic site is open for tours and events and has also developed a major paranormal reputation involving voices, footsteps and apparitions reported in its old barracks and casemates.
