The Joseph Ladd School was a state institution for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and became notorious for overcrowding, abuse, segregation and Rhode Island's eugenics-era policies. Most of the campus was demolished after the institution closed, and later ghost stories attached themselves to the abandoned buildings. OddWay should treat this primarily as institutional dark history; remaining structures are not an invitation to trespass.
