In September 1965, teenager Norman Muscarello reported a large object with flashing red lights near Route 150 outside Exeter. Police officers later said they also observed unexplained lights, and journalist John G. Fuller's book "Incident at Exeter" helped turn the case into a classic of American UFO history.
