An outdoor bust of French Lick native Larry Bird depicts the basketball legend with the severe styling of an ancient Roman emperor. The sculpture stands outside the Springs Valley recreation-center area on Larry Bird Boulevard, making it an easy public tribute with a deliberately unusual visual twist.
