Big Muskie was once the world's largest dragline excavator, working Ohio coal country from 1969 until 1991 before the machine was dismantled. Its enormous surviving bucket now sits at Miner's Memorial Park, where visitors can walk directly up to it, climb inside and see the mining memorials and overlook.
