Its official information lists an April–November tour season but currently also displays a temporary-closure notice, so it should be verified before OddWay actively routes someone there.

A federal visitor center in the Brooks Range interprets Arctic ecology, public lands and the Dalton Highway corridor. Its remote position roughly 260 road miles north of Fairbanks makes simply reaching the building part of the OddWay experience.

An old schoolhouse contains thousands of objects made from copper, ranging from cookware and military art to decorative architecture. The narrow material focus is especially fitting in a town built around the copper industry.

This museum was built specifically to house artist-built environments and vernacular art that would otherwise be difficult to preserve. Entire rooms and large fragments from outsider-art sites are reconstructed inside, making the building feel like a warehouse of transplanted worlds.
